METROsquash students engage in equal parts squash and academic instruction three days a week after school. In addition, the program provides on-on-one mentoring and weekend activities including squash competitions, community service projects and cultural trips. Students make a recurrent two-year commitment to the program.

METROsquash draws from 5th and 6th grade students Kozminski and Reavis Schools. Students will have four years in the program before entering High School. In doing so, METRO will have a significant impact academically and develop squash skills at a formative age.

Our long term plans include the formation of a High School Program and building a facility with squash courts, classrooms and office space that will serve the Chicago community for years to come.
