METROsquash students engage in equal parts squash and academic instruction three days a week after school. In addition, the program provides one-on-one mentoring and weekend activities including squash competitions, community service projects and cultural trips.

METROsquash draws 5th through 9th grade students from Chicago Public Schools. Students have four years in the program before entering High School. In so doing, METROsquash has a significant impact academically and helps develop squash skills at a formative age. One of METROsquash's primary goals is to provide students with the skills, support, and knowledge they need to enter top high schools. This season will mark the launch of the METROsquash College Prep program as our 9th grade students begin preparation for college.

Our long term plan includes the construction of a facility with squash courts, classrooms and office space that will serve over 200 students and their families for generations.
