David came to Chicago in June of 2005 from the University of Rochester where he was Men's Squash Coach and MBA student. Previously he was Head Squash Pro at the Union Club of Manhattan. He was team Captain and All-American at Princeton University and competed on the professional men's doubles tour (ISDA), achieving a career high rank of #2. As Executive Director, David serves on the METROsquash Board of Directors.
Kerry's involvement with METROsquash began when she moved to Chicago in early 2008. She served as a volunteer, mentor and Program Committee member before taking on her current role. Along with a passion for teaching, Kerry brings extensive program management experience to the organization having held leadership positions at a number of world class advertising agencies including Leo Burnett, Ogilvy & Mather and DDB. Kerry graduated in 1994 with a business degree from Queen's University and is an avid squash player.
Jackie graduated in 2011 from Princeton University with a BA in Politics and a French Certificate. She captained the Princeton Women's Squash Team and was a two-time winner of the prestigious Howe Cup in 2008 and 2009. She has won numerous junior squash awards and played for Team Canada at the Junior Women's World Championships in Hong Kong in 2007, where she placed 7th. Jackie enjoys teaching and spent last summer coaching at Princeton Sports Camps under the direction of Gail Ramsay. Jackie comes from Calgary, Alberta and learned to play squash under coaches Glenn Stark and Arthur Hough.
Rosa graduated in 2011 from Northwestern University with a BS in Education and Social Policy. She is an experienced diversity advocate having served as President of Promote 360: A Cycle of Minority Empowerment, a Diversity Intern at Kirkland and Ellis LLP, and a Hispanic/Latino Student Affairs Intern at Northwestern University. Rosa is passionate about working with youth and giving back to the CPS community. She serves as a strong role model having attended Walter Payton College Prep, and having won a full scholarship to Northwestern.
Brandon moved to Chicago in April of 2009 after graduating from Western Michigan University. While at WMU, Brandon received the education departments highest honor, The Nash Award for Excellence in Education. Before beginning his career at METROsquash, Brandon taught at WMU for 2 years helping to run and establish the developmental writing program. On top of his passion for education, Brandon is an avid mountain biker who enjoys outdoor recreation. Brandon specializes in American literature and political science. He is from Royal Oak, Michigan.
Edward returned to METROsquash in 2010, after teaching for two years in Austria through the Fulbright Program. He previously interned with the program in 2008. While attending Northwestern, Edward served as captain and president of the squash team. He graduated with degrees in History and German. Edward is from Minnesota and learned to play squash at the Commodore Squash Club in St. Paul.
Amber comes to METROsquash with an extensive background in Special Event Management and fundraising and has been working in the Chicago nonprofit circuit for the past five years. Having a passion for connecting individuals with their local community, Amber is very excited to be a part of the METROsquash team. With a technical degree in Design and Illustration, she looks forward to being a part of the creative process and is ready to help take METROsquash to the next level; both with growing in size and exposure. Amber was first introduced to the game of squash while living on the east coast, where she graduated from the University of Vermont in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, and a minor in U.S. Ethnic Studies. In her free time, Amber enjoys cooking, playing field hockey, and traveling.
